Our Story
Built Around the Learner, Not the Deadline
Prathip was founded on a simple belief: that lasting understanding comes from steady practice, not rushed timelines.

Where Patience Meets Expertise
Prathip was founded in Bangkok in 2019 by a small group of software engineers and educators who had grown frustrated watching promising learners abandon their studies — not because the subject was beyond them, but because the pace of available courses left no room to actually think. The name Prathip (ประทีป) means lamp or lantern in Thai, and it reflects what we try to be: a steady light rather than a spotlight.
From the start, our approach has been to build programs around the material itself — what it genuinely takes to understand programming, probability, data handling, and model design — rather than around how fast someone can click through slides. That means fewer students per cohort, more individual feedback, and content that you can return to freely whenever a concept needs more time.
Over six years, we have worked with learners from across Thailand and the wider region: career changers, working professionals fitting study into evenings and weekends, and recent graduates building on their degree with applied skills. What most of them have in common is that they want to understand what they are doing, not just follow a recipe.
Today Prathip offers three structured online programs in AI development — ranging from a gentle introduction to a thorough professional-level track — each built on the same foundation of careful pacing and attentive feedback.
Mission
To give every learner enough room to reach genuine understanding of AI development, regardless of their starting point.

The People
Who You Work With
A small core team with varied backgrounds — all committed to the same unhurried approach.
Natthapong Suwannarat
Founder & Lead Instructor
A software engineer turned educator with ten years in applied machine learning. Natthapong designs the core curriculum and leads the Full AI Development Track.
Pimchanok Teerakul
Curriculum Developer
Pimchanok has a background in instructional design and data science. She builds exercises and materials that make abstract concepts approachable without losing rigour.
Kritsakorn Wannapha
Learner Support & Mentor
Kritsakorn guides learners through the Starter and Intermediate programs, providing feedback on exercises and answering questions promptly throughout the week.
Standards
How We Keep Quality Consistent
A set of practices we maintain across every program, reviewed and updated regularly.
Curriculum Review
All program materials are reviewed every six months to reflect developments in AI tooling and practice. Outdated sections are rewritten, not patched.
Personal Feedback
Every submitted exercise receives a written response from a human mentor — not an automated scoring system. Feedback is specific to what you built.
Data Protection
Learner data is held securely and never shared with third parties without consent. We comply with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Completion Certificates
Certificates are issued on genuine completion, not mere enrolment. The Full Track certificate includes documentation of the capstone project.
Responsive Support
Questions submitted during weekday hours are answered within four hours. Evening and weekend queries are addressed by the following morning.
Ethical Approach to AI
Our programs include discussion of responsible AI practices. We believe understanding the limits and risks of the tools is as important as building with them.
Expertise
Our Approach to AI Education
AI development is a discipline that rewards careful study more than most. The tools change quickly, but the underlying ideas — statistical reasoning, computational thinking, the way models learn from data — are more stable, and understanding them is what allows a practitioner to adapt when the tools do shift. Our programs are built around this foundation.
We pay particular attention to the moments where a concept becomes harder to follow. Rather than moving on when a section is completed, we build in exercises that return to those moments from different angles: a coding task, a written question, a worked example. Repetition, done well, is not tedium — it is how understanding deepens.
The learners who come to Prathip are typically people who want to work with AI in a real setting — whether that is building internal tools at a company, working with data in a research context, or moving into a technical role. They don't need theatre; they need clear material, honest feedback, and enough time to work through it. That is what we provide.
Our location in Bangkok allows us to understand the local technology sector and to be available during hours that make sense for learners in Thailand and neighbouring countries. We communicate in English but we understand the regional context — the kinds of industries where these skills are in demand, and the educational background that most of our learners bring with them.
